Cisco Voice over IP (VoIP) Engineer

Pangaia Partners, a leading technology consulting firm has an opening for a Cisco VoIP Engineer to support a global telephony environment. 3-5 years of supporting global voice environments in a financial or health care industry is extremely preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Support multiple projects within the Cisco IPT environment 
• Call Manager Upgrades and configurations 
• Routing and Switching Configuration 
• Moves, Adds, Changes for Cisco IP phones and extensions 
• Engineer solutions for the firm's largest customers and their highly-resilient telephony infrastructure 

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3-5 years hands-on experience with Cisco Call Manager/Unified Communications Manager and Cisco Unity
• Proficient in routing protocols: TCP/IP, MPLS, BGP, EIGRP, OSPF, HSRP/GLBP, Multicast, IP CEF
• Ability to analyze and design voice systems to achieve efficient and secure operation
• Current Cisco data networking certifications i.e. CCVP strongly preferred
• Experience working in large enterprise voice networks is desired. The ability to work under pressure and interface with senior management will be key to these roles
